with numerous other high-altitude species, the ski resort at Oukaimeden (above
Marrakesh) is a reliable site to enjoy the Alpine
Accentor. Members of the small accentor family resemble narrow-billed
sparrows or finches, and have radiated to fill mostly mountainous or forested
terrain throughout Eurasia. In Europe the Hedge Accentor, or Dunnock, is a
notable exception, it being a common garden and hedgerow bird. | |
